Traces of Asbestos found in McNeese building

Kaufman Hall has been under renovations for almost two years according to the Public Information office at McNeese.

When the renovations began, all asbestos was removed from the building. Two weeks ago, contractors broke through a door on the third floor and encountered traces of asbestos.

For safety reasons, the few staff members left in the building were relocated until the location is secured.
