Vehicle accident on Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette

The following is a news release from the Lafayette Parish:

Lafayette, LA - At 8:40 pm Lafayette Police responded to a crash in the 3100 block of Ambassador Caffery involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. The vehicle was traveling southbound on Ambassador Caffery when the MC entered from a side street, striking the vehicle.  The operator of the MC was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Motorist traveling in this area can expect to be re-routed until the investigation is complete.
