2 women accused of prostitution in Lake Charles

The following is a Press Release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Vice Division arrested Ella Mae Carson, 51, and Kimberly M. Dedeaux, 31, both of Lake Charles, following two separate undercover sting operations near the intersection of Kirkman Street and Fall Street and surrounding areas in Lake Charles, targeting those seeking sexual favors for monetary compensation.

Carson and Dedeaux were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with prostitution; and crimes against nature by solicitation. 

Dedeaux, who was found to be in possession of a metal smoking device, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Judge Wilford Carter set her bond at $2,000.

Carson was also charged with resisting an officer by giving false information and Judge Wilford Carter set her bond at $2,500.

    The suspect in a homicide in Topsy has been captured by authorities in Jefferson County, Texas, according to Chief Deputy Christopher Ivey.  David Wade Clark, 28, was the main suspect in the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Office investigation into the death of Devin Marc Sanders on August 10, 2018, in Topsy, Louisiana. Just before noon on Aug. 14, the Lake Charles Police Department found Clark's truck in the Big Lots parking lot on Highway 14, said Ivey.  ...
