One woman is dead after she was found shot dead on an ex boyfriend's front porch Friday night.
Smith County Sheriff J.B. Smith tells us 68-year-old Larry Smith was arrested after he shot and killed 57-year-old Sandy Greenhall on the front porch of Smith's home in the 19 thousand block of County Road 2171.
Officials say Larry Smith told police Sandy Greenhall was attempting to break into his home. That's when Smith shot and killed Greenhall.
J.B. Smith told us Smith changed his story multiple times, leading officials to believe that the original story was not correct.
Larry Smith is held at the Smith County courthouse on a one million dollar bond.
