Lake Charles stabbing suspect turns himself in

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The suspect wanted for attempted second degree murder has surrendered to Lake Charles Police.

Adrian Jackson, 31, is accused of stabbing a 30-year-old man Monday night in the 700 block of Lawrence Street.

Police said they were dispatched to the residence and found the victim stabbed several times.

After further investigation police revealed that the victim and accused suspect Adrian Jackson had a fight. During the fight Jackson stabbed the victim several times and fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for stab wounds.

Jackson is jailed on a $100,000 bond.
