7 arrested after meth lab bust in Lake Charles

Seven people were arrested after police recovered an active meth lab in Lake Charles.

The Lake Charles Police Department said it recovered the meth lab on Feb. 16 after searching a residence on the 2900 block of Broad Street.

Police arrested Pamela Cubit, 38; Clarence Shain, 39; David Hungerford, 36; Abbra Tullos, 28; Gregory Neal, 39; Kaci Cubit, 21 and Cory Humphries, 25, for operating a clandestine lab and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force conducted interviews with the suspects and some admitted they had been cooking meth at the trailer for three days.
