4 people suspected of robbery in Lake Charles

4 people were arrested and charged with simple robbery on the 100 block of Prospect Street in Lake Charles.

Lake Charles Police Department said investigations revealed the victim was standing in the driveway of a friend's residence on Wednesday, February 8 talking on his phone when the suspect vehicle occupied by three or four males pulled up and got out.

One of the suspects's grabbed the victim and started choking him while the other suspects went through the victim's pockets and removed money.

The suspects got into the vehicle and fled off.

An officer said he spotted a vehicle that had the same license plate that was described in the dispatch.

The officer conducted a felony stop and arrested Troy Guillory, 18; Jordan Williams, 18; Javante Kelly, 18, and Sondai Osumba Baldwin, 18.
