Five men were arrested and charged with possession with intent of
CDS I (marijuana) and possession with intent of CDS V (promethazine) on Wednesday,
February 1.
The Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) began an
investigation involving multiple incidents of drug activity at the Baymont Inn
on MLK Highway and a residence on Katherine Street both in Lake Charles.
Investigators
found an undisclosed amount of cash, 6
pounds of hydroponic marijuana and approximately 50 fluid ounces of
promethazine with codeine.
Detectives arrested Donald W. Davis, 29, of Madera, California;
Quinten L. Flemming, 34, of Fresno, California; Jewel M. Broussard, 24, of Lake
Charles and Donald W. Davis, 54, of Lake Charles.
All four men were booked in the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
The C.A.T Team detectives continued its investigation by executing
a search warrant at a residence on Pecan Acres Road in Lake Charles.
During the search inside the home, investigators found an undisclosed
amount of cash and hydroponic marijuana.
Home owner, Theodore M. White, 38, was released on a summons.
