South Bend, IN - According to several reports, including CBS Sports.com, top-ranked quarterback recruit Gunner Kiel has backed out of committing to LSU and has enrolled in classes at Notre Dame.
Kiel, who graduated from Columbus East High School in Indiana earlier this month, was set to begin classes at LSU when the semester began on Tuesday.
However, rumors began to swirling yesterday that quarterback was not it Baton Rouge and was wavering on his commitment to LSU.
Earlier, Kiel had reneged on a verbal commitment to attend Indiana University.
LSU Head Coach Les Miles is expected to comment on this matter when he holds a press conference this afternoon in Baton Rouge.
