Troopers Partner with Local Agencies to Arrest 23 People

St. Martinville- During the last two days Louisiana State Police Troop I, State Police Detectives and the Lafayette City Marshal's Office assisted the St. Martinville Police Department with locating and arresting individuals with open warrants in the Town of St. Martinville.  

The operation began on Wednesday January, 11, 2012, at 5:30 a.m., and ended yesterday evening.  During the two day period, 23 people were arrested for various charges ranging from theft to possession of narcotics.  The people arrested had warrants from around Acadiana as well as warrants from out of state.

The following people from St. Martinville were arrested and booked into jail without incident:

Quincy Cole (B/M, age 26)                         Driving Under Suspension/View of TV by Driver
Jennifer Cole (B/F, age 20)                         Simple Battery/ Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
Hope Phillips (W/F, age 31)                         Issuing Worthless Checks
Gabriel Wiltz (B/M, age 32)                         Gaming in Public
