    A crash Tuesday morning in Allen Parish claimed the lives of two teens from Ville Platte.

The following is a Press Release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

On January 10th, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Kayla M. Hooper, 19, of Moss Bluff, after receiving two separate reports of Hooper engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl, both acquaintances of Hooper. 

 The investigation revealed Hooper engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with the 16-year-old victim and had been doing so on numerous occasions for the past 2 months.

Detectives also discovered Hooper sent several explicit text messages, including an inappropriate photograph of herself, to the 15-year-old victim.

When detectives spoke with Hooper, she confirmed these allegations.  She was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with seven (7) counts of indecent behavior with juveniles; and five (5) counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Judge Kent Savoie set her bond at $19,000. 

CPSO Detective Kathy LeBlanc is the lead investigator on this case.
