Three arrested in Lake Charles home invasion

Three men were arrested Saturday evening in connection of a home invasion that took place on the 1800 block of 9th Avenue east of Lake Charles.

The three suspects arrested were Kelvin Williams, 24; Kory Guillory, 17; and Larry Bell, 24.

According to Lake Charles Police, two people kicked in the back door and entered the residence. Two people were armed with pistols wearing black mask and dark colored clothing.

After the invasion, the victims were able escape and call the police. It was not clear if the victims were harmed.

Lake Charles Corporal Michael Oglesbee responded to the home and noticed a vehicle fitting the description coming from the victim's address. Corporal Olgesbee followed the vehicle to 3rd Avenue and 17th Street, where the vehicle pulled into a driveway.

Officials said three black males exited the vehicle and then entered a residence half-mile away from the victim's home.
