Suspect sought in Richmond Suites robbery

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

Lake Charles Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery at Richmond Suites located at 2600 Moeling St.

The robbery happened on November 26th at approximately 10:18 p.m.

The surveillance video captured an unknown black male wearing dark colored coveralls with dark colored hood pulled over his head, black boots, a light blue bandana pulled over his face, and white gloves on his hands. 

The suspect produced a gray handgun and demanded money from the hotel clerk and then fled the scene in an unknown direction, with an undetermined amount of money.

    The beginning of an enhancement to the Brad Vincent Reef in Calcasieu Lake began Thursday.  "Calcasieu lake is one of the best fishing lakes along the Gulf coast.
