LCPD seeking suspect in Circle K armed robbery

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

The Lake Charles Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Circle K on 520 East Prien Lake Road. 

The robbery happened at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18th

LCPD is seeking the public's help in finding the suspect, who is best described as a white male, approximately 5'6" to 5'10", weighing around 140 to 150 pounds, and wearing a U.S. Army Woodland camouflage jacket and pants.

A 1st Calvary Division patch was on the left sleeve of the camouflage jacket. The suspect was wearing a brown and green ski mask covering his face, and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. 

The suspect produced a silver handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He acquired an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene on foot towards College St.
