Holly joined the KPLC 7 News team in December 2011.
She was born and raised in Lake Charles and is a graduate of Henderson State University with a degree in mass media and a minor in French.
During her time at HSU, Holly was a member of the Henderson Television (HTV) staff as a reporter, anchor and station manager. She was also a letterman for the swim team and the sports editor for the newspaper, the Oracle. Holly was also a member of the Gamma Beta Phi and Alpha Chi National Honor Society. During her senior year, she returned home to intern with KPLC. She also writes for The Post Game, an online magazine through Yahoo! Sports.
Holly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and is active in her church. She also has a heart for photography. But don't forget her Cajun bone. Holly loves Cajun music, Cajun food and, of course, the LSU Tigers. She also enjoys crabbing and duck hunting when she can.
Holly is a graduate of Barbe High School and is very excited to return home to join KPLC, not to mention the easy access to gumbo and boudin.
