Lake Charles Christmas Parade - KPLC 7 News, Lake Charles, Louisiana

Lake Charles Christmas Parade

The City of Lake Charles presented their annual Lake Charles Christmas Parade.

The parade started at 2 p.m. and rolled from Mill Street (south on Lakeshore Drive), then east on Kirby Street, north on Bilbo Street, and concluding back at Mill Street.

According to the City of Lake Charles, website, "The route has been adjusted to allow for street construction while providing plenty of space for spectators to park and gather for this spectacular procession."

As always, Santa pulled up the rear in his carriage.

Video is attached of Santa being interviewed on what he really wants from Southwest Louisiana children instead of those traditional milk and cookies.
