KPLC is accepting donations today at the Capital One Bank building downtown Lake Charles.

KPLC, in partnership with Capital One Bank, and the Employees of Christus St Patrick Hospital, provides over 800 local families in the 5 parish area with food for a Christmas meal and toys for their children.

Collection dates are December 1st – 17th.

We need to gather together enough non perishable foods, toys and monetary  donations to meet the needs of our families.  Monetary donations are used to buy items we still need at the end of the drive, usually both food and toys.

All the turkeys have been donated by the employees of CSPH

All the rice has been donated by Farmers Rice Mill and bagged by 4-H volunteers at the LSU Ag Center

  • 825 cake mixes and 825 cans of icing
  • 2000 corn bread mixes
