CPSO looking for armed robber in Sulphur

The following is a Press Release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

On November 30, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to the USA Convenience store, 2701 S. Beglis Parkway, Sulphur, in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival deputies learned a man, armed with a knife, walked into the store, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the clerk.  After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the store heading south on Beglis Parkway. 

The Sheriff's Office conducted an extensive search of the area but was unable to locate the suspect.  He is described as young black man, wearing all black with a red material covering his face. 

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying this man.  If anyone knows anything about this robbery, please call CPSO at 491-3605 or Crimestoppers at 439-2222.
