Two arrested from Moss Bluff for burglary and identity theft

 The following is a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

Lake Charles – On October 12, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office detectives received a report in reference to a theft that occurred a few days before.

The investigation revealed on October 2 the victim went to a home in Moss Bluff to inquire about a baby walker for sale.  The next day, the victim noticed her wallet, which was inside her car and contained her driver's license, her food stamp card, and over $200 in cash, was missing.

Further investigation revealed the victim's food stamp card had been used at a grocery store in Sulphur.  Detectives were able to access video surveillance footage from the grocery store, which captured Jimmie J. Roshto, 43, and Robert A. Dill, Sr., 40, both of Moss Bluff, using the victim's food stamp card to make a purchase.

On November 8, Roshto and Dill were arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with simple burglary; identity theft; unauthorized use of an access card; and theft under $500.

Judge Michael Canaday set Roshto's bond at $32,500 and set Dill's, a registered sex offender on parole, at $50,000.

CPSO Detective Chadwick A. LeJune, Sr. is the lead investigator on this case.   The investigation is continuing with more arrests possible.
