Sulphur couple wanted on charges of aggravated rape

The following is a news release from the Sulphur Police Department:

The Sulphur Police Department is still looking for 44 year old Damon Troy Skipper who is wanted for Aggravated Rape involving a child.

Detectives have received information that Shipper may have cut his cut his hair in an attempt to avoid apprehension. Also wanted is Skipper's wife, Janice Renee Skipper Black Female, Age 33 of Sulphur who also faces a charge of Aggravated Rape for her role in the case.

Damon Troy Skipper is described as a Black Male, 5'8" tall, 160 lbs, Brown Eyes, Black Hair and date of birth January 18, 1967. Janice Renee Skipper, of 608 Pitre Street, Sulphur is described as a Black Female, 5'4" tall, brown eyes, brown hair and date of birth February 13, 1978. Both are believed to be in the Lake area.

Anyone with information on the Skippers' whereabouts is asked to contact the Sulphur Police Department at 337-527-4550.
