5.6 earthquake strikes Oklahoma

A earthquake of magnitude 5.6 has struck the state of Oklahoma around 10:53 p.m. local time on Saturday November 5th.

According to the USGS the earthquake was at a depth of 3.1 miles, with an epicenter 21 miles NNE of Shawnee, Oklahoma. That is 44 miles ENE of Oklahoma City, OK.

KPLC Facebook viewers  as far away as Lydia, Texas felt the quake.
