The Beauregard Narcotics Task Force and Special Operations Group report the following arrests:
Edward Verot, age: 26, of Singer, was arrested 31 October in Singer. Verot is charged with Operation of a Clandestine Lab and Criminal Conspiracy. Verot was processed into the Parish Jail. Bond is set at $40,000.
Amanda Lacaze, age:33, of Singer, was arrested 1 November. Lacaze is charged with Possession of Marijuana. She was processsed into the Parish Jail. Bond is set at $5,000.
Gayland Barrow, age:42, of DeQuincy, was arrested 1 November in DeQuincy. Barrow is charged with Criminal Conspiracy in the Creation and Operation of a Clandestine Lab. He was processed into the Parish Jail. Bond is set at $40,000.
Destiny Vincente, age:31, and Emment Jordan, age:37, both of Merryville, were arrested 2 November in Merryville. Both are charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Meth, Possession of Crack Cocaine, all with intent to distribute. Both were processed into the Parish Jail. Bond amounts not available.

The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Department is saddened to report that K-9 Tracker Bloodhound "Spencer", age 8, passed away due to illness on 2 November 2011. Spencer, who joined the department April 3rd 2008 after serving with the Dixon Correctional Facilility in Jackson, La. went on to serve with distinction with BPSO. Spencer, who was described as a "Tracker Extraordinaire", is credited with saving numerous lives through his tracking ability. He received several letters of commendation from surrounding departments for his efforts in locating missing people. Spencer is survived by his K9 partner "Dexter" and all members of the Chase Team.
