LCPD seek suspect involved in theft

The following is a Press Release from the Lake Charles Police Department:

During the morning of Friday, October 28th, a victim dropped her credit card
while waiting in line at a local fast food restaurant.

Shortly thereafter, a man can be seen picking up the card and placing it in his pocket. He is a black male wearing a USSSA hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

The subject is later seen on surveillance video at a local convenience store making
unauthorized charges on the victim's stolen card.

It is believed that the subject is driving a white 4 door vehicle.

    A stationary front is dissipating over our area now and will no longer be an influence on our weather beyond today.  Today was more of a typical summer day with showers and thunderstorms scattered across all of Southwest Louisiana.  Showers and thunderstorms were widespread across the area today and these will linger into the early evening hours.  The rain will come to an end after sunset and should be gone completely by 10 p.m.
