Former Asphalt Manager of Pelican Refinery pleads guilty

A former top official at Pelican Refining's Lake Charles location pleads guilty to negligent endangerment after a release of highly dangerous chemicals in 2007.

Mike Lebleu was the company's asphalt facilities manager, and he faces up to a year in jail and a fine up to $100,000.

Earlier this month, the company itself pleaded guilty to violating the clean air act and obstruction of justice, and it's vice president has pleaded guilty to negligent endangerment and is awaiting sentencing.
