If you've been traveling westbound on I-10 between Iowa and Lake Charles you know the construction work that's been going on.
Starting on Saturday October 15th all that will begin on the eastbound side as well.
Construction work will go from Kayouchee Coulee east of the US 171 interchange (Exit 33) to US 165 (Exit 44). Two lanes will remain open during this phase of construction.
Work continues on the I-10 west bound lanes from US 165 (Exit 44) to Kayouchee Coulee east of the US 171 interchange (Exit 33). Westbound should be complete by Sunday, October 16th.
All work is expected to be complete by the end of November.
