Arrests made in Sulphur

The following is a Press Release from the Sulphur Police Department:

Sulphur Police Department reported from October 11-12, 2011 that officers of the department investigated two traffic accidents reporting no injuries and issued twenty-one traffic citations.

Officers also responded to several other incidents resulting in three arrests. 

Kaylin Elizabeth Church, White Female, Age 17 of Lauren Lane, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for an aggravated assault.

Roger Gene Chism, White Male, Age 48 of Oller Street, Tickfall, Louisiana was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for vagrancy and disturbing the peace by public intoxication.

Jerome Anthony Mayo, Black Male, Age 21 of Prater Road, Westlake was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for an outstanding bench warrant and contempt of court.

    Louisiana State Police have caught the convict who escaped from Mississippi on April 20.

    State Police captured Antonio Henderson, 23, along I-10 in Lake Charles around 9:37 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, said Sgt. James Anderson, Troop D spokesman.
