Arrests warrants were issued and two arrests have been made in connection with theft of copper that was reported to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office on October 12th.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon following an investigation by Detectives with his office, arrests warrants were issued earlier this week for two individuals in two separate incidents.
On Tuesday evening deputies arrested William Head, age 24 of Country Aire, Rayne and charged him theft from a commercial business located in the 1500 block of Crowley Rayne Hwy near Crowley. His bond was set at $15,000.
Also arrested was Dallas Pelly, Jr, age 52 of East Ash Street, Crowley for theft of copper from a commercial business located in the 3800 block of Crowley Rayne Highway near Rayne. His bond was set at $15,000.
