Arrests from Sulphur Police

The following is a Press Release from the Sulphur Police Department:

Sulphur Police Department reported from September 22-26, 2011 that officers of the department investigated seventeen traffic accidents reporting two injuries and issued thirty-two traffic citations.

Officers also responded to several other incidents resulting in twelve arrests including one arrest for driving while under the influence. 

Raquel Renee Ledoux, White Female, Age 33 of Ash Drive, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for theft of goods.

Latrice Danielle Collins, Black Female, Age 30 of General Doolittle Street, Lake Charles was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for theft of goods, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and driving while under suspension.

Edward Matthew Vincent, White Male, Age 29 of East Napoleon Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for illegal possession of stolen things.

Brandon Keith Hoffpauir, White Male, Age 21 of East Lyons Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for domestic abuse battery.

Ralph Dewey Ellender, White Male, Age 45 of North Crocker Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for disturbing the peace.

Dianna Burel Siebold, White Female, Age 41 of North Johnson Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for aggravated battery.

Kirk Layne Lambert, White Male, Age 30 of Sara Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for speeding, improper lane use and driving while under the influence.

Tina Sharp, White Female, Age 35 of Avondale Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for speeding, illegal possession of stolen things, forgery and resisting arrests.

Jessica Nicole Jenkins, White Female, Age 28 of Laurent Avenue, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for disturbing the peace.

Julie Dee Guillory, White Female, Age 38 of Doiron Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for speeding, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

William R. Long, White Male, Age 47 of Walker Road, Carlyss was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for theft of goods.

Natalia Synquise Bias, Black Female, Age 21 of Richard Allen Street, Dequincy was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple criminal damage to property.

    Periods of off and on rain with some thunderstorms will continue through Tuesday as more upper level disturbances cross our area.  It is important to note that it will not rain all day, and there may be long periods with no rain at all.  The next upper level disturbance is expected to cross over our area late Sunday into Monday and that means more rain and possibly some thunderstorms too.  It is expected to be warm with lows in the 60s and highs in the 70s.

    Local fraternity helping SWLA families have a good Christmas dinner

    One local fraternity made sure some families in Southwest Louisiana had a fully cooked meal to enjoy for Christmas. "We have turkeys and hams, but it's enough food in the box to feed a family of eight," said  Mark Gallashaw, president of Kappa Alpha Psi's Lake Charles Alumni Chapter. Thirty-five boxes of cooked meals are getting ready to be delivered to families across Southwest Louisiana.
