LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - It is time for the fall Garden of Hope planting this Saturday, Sept. 24, beginning at 9 a.m. till noon at The Potter's House located at 3233 Krikman Street in Lake Charles.
Come and help break down the last of summer, and get ready to bring in fall. Bring a shovel and gloves if you have them. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
The Potter's House Garden of Hope helps support the women and children who are seeking refuge from being homeless in the area. They house more than 120 homeless women and children each year.
The Garden of Hope is a joint project between The Potter's House, South Lake Charles Kiwanis Club and The People's Advocate.
