Calcasieu Parish Issues State Declaration of Emergency

September 2, 2011 – Due to the threat of current weather conditions associated with Tropical Storm Lee, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has submitted a State Declaration of Emergency for the entire Parish effective immediately.  The Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness will remain active in monitoring the weather system and address any safety issues as they develop.
