The Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana

The Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana serves Calcasieu, Beauregard, Allen, Cameron and Jefferson Davis parishes. We provide financial support for charitable, social, educational and human services programs. By working with donors and service organizations, the Foundation is helping make our region even better.

What is a community foundation?
Community foundations are nonprofits classified as public charities and dedicated to supporting and improving their individual communities. Each community foundation has its own mission, service area and bylaws to guide its activities. Governed by a local board of directors, community foundations make grants to enhance their communities. For more, visit the Council on Foundations.

Rebuilding Millennium Park
Millennium Park will return. Lake Charles committed to reopening the burned-down park, and the Foundation is raising $350,000 for the project. Let's give the children - and grown-ups -a better place to enjoy life. Rebuild with us! Learn more about the project, and make a tax-deductible donation online.
