Calcasieu Parish public meeting to review unified development code

The following is a news release from the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury:

The Planning Department of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury will discuss the proposed Unified Development Code (UDC) with a review panel of Calcasieu Parish citizens, Monday, June 20th, 5:30pm, in Harbor's Edge Pavillion at Prien Lake Park, 3700 West Prien Lake Road, Lake Charles.

The public is invited to attend.
 
The UDC was created for the purpose of consolidating numerous previously adopted ordinances associated with items such as zoning, subdivisions and interim development.

The Planning Department intends to offer to additional meetings regarding the proposed UDC in the near future.
