(AP) - King McClure had 19 points, Terry Maston made a series of big baskets down the stretch and No. 22 Baylor rallied to beat Creighton 65-59 in the Hall of Fame Classic title game. Maston finished with 15 points and Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. had 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Bears in earning tournament MVP honors.

FRISCO, Texas (AP) - Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott isn't going to blame the absence of suspended running back Ezekiel Elliott for the Cowboys' woes in two straight lopsided losses. The magic is gone from a year ago, when Prescott and Elliott combined for remarkable rookie seasons that carried the Cowboys to the best record in the NFC. Now they're fighting for playoff survival just 10 games into the season.

NEW YORK (AP) - Robert Williams had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead No. 16 Texas A&M to a 98-87 win over Penn State in the championship game of the Progressive Legends Classic in New York. Duane Wilson led the Aggies with 22 points while Tyler Davis chipped in 15. Admon Gilder had 14 and Tonny Torcha-Morelos finished with 11. Despite getting a career-high 31 points from Tony Carr, Penn State lost its first game of the season.

HOUSTON (AP) - Gustav Svensson and Will Bruin scored in the first half, and Seattle Sounders FC beat the 10-man Houston Dynamo 2-0 in the first leg of the Western Conference championship. The second leg is Nov. 30 in Seattle.

DALLAS (AP) - Devin Shore and Jason Spezza scored 59 seconds apart to lift the Dallas Stars over the Montreal Canadiens 3-1. Shore had no goals in the first 19 games this season, but scored for the second straight game to tie it 1-all at 18:22 of the second period.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Collin Sexton scored 29 points and No. 25 Alabama beat UT-Arlington 77-76 in a come-from-behind victory. The Crimson Tide trailed the entire first half and took its first lead with 12 minutes remaining.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Svi Mykhailiuk scored 21 points, Udoka Azubuike added 20 and Kansas cruised to a resounding 114-71 victory over Texas Southern in the Jayhawks' first game of the Hoophall Miami Invitational. Lagerald Vick, Devonte' Graham and Marcus Garrett all finished with a double-double, as Vick posted 19 points and 10 rebounds, Graham had 17 points and 11 assists, and Garrett logged 13 points and 11 boards.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Justin Bibbs scored 25 points to carry Virginia Tech to a 99-73 victory over Houston Baptist. The hot-shooting Bibbs connected on all seven of his first-half field-goal attempts and scored 16 points for the Hokies, who were actually in a battle for much of the first 20 minutes.
