Water conservation urged in Westlake

The following is a news release from Water District #4:

The Board of Directors and Management of Water District #4 are asking for everyone's help with conserving water as much as possible.  We are setting up a schedule for outside watering based on individual addresses.  Consumption levels are at a maximum and the current drought conditions are making the problem worse.

Please adhere to the following schedule for outside watering:

Even-numbered addresses: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY
Odd-numbered addresses: TUESDAY, THURSDAY, AND SATURDAY.

NO OUTSIDE WATERING ON SUNDAY

We are hopeful that this request will minimize daily heavy usage and will eliminate the need to issue a mandatory ban on ALL outside watering.

Water District #4 is in the process of exploring various options to increase the production capacity at the plant, which will allow our company to supply the necessary requirements of our customers.  During this time, we appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation.

THIS CONSERVATION REQUEST IS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FUTHER NOTICE.

Customers will be notified of any changes to this request as they become necessary.

Thank You.
