Beauregard Parish Sheriff opens new office in Ragley

The following is a news release from the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office.

The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office officially opened its new office this week in Ragley. The office is located at 14062 Hwy 171. (Off the south bound lane at the Ragley overpass)
There area residents may file complaints, receive information, pay traffic, court fines and property taxes. The office will provide an added resource for law enforcement in that area.  The public is invited to an opening  "meet and greet" to be held at the new office on Thursday, April 14th between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be provided.

    During a house fire, every second counts so, in an effort to reduce the number of house fires across the area, the Red Cross is teaming up with local fire departments to install free smoke alarms. It’s all part of its national 'Home Fire Campaign' in an effort to make sure every resident across Southwest Louisiana has a working smoke alarm.
