LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Local Islamic leader, Imam Ahmed El-Mamlouk said his people will not take no for an answer. Ahmed believes his fellow Egyptians are capable of taking their revolt to a new level, should President Hosni Mubarak stay in power.

"I believe they will double their number from now into the morning. And I believe the army has to step down, because they cannot stay aside for a longer time," said Imam Ahmed. "People will not accept anything other then what they said. They need the Mubarak regime to go away, all of his corrupted people to be held accountable for what they did, and they need a new government built on real democracy."

Ahmed said the protestors revolting in Cairo will soon grow experientially, sending a strong message to their government. He believes Egypt will soon look different, same history same culture, with a new government of the people.
