Free Community Seminar on Atrial Fibrillation at St. Patrick Hospital

CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital is holding a free community seminar on atrial fibrillation (AF) on Wednesday, February 23 with Xavier Mousset, M.D.  Atrial fibrilliation is the most common cardiac arrhythmia. It is a unique cardiac arrhythmia that directly affects the upper chambers of the heart.

Dr. Mousset will share the latest in technology and treatment options for atrial fibrillation including the Mini-Maze surgical ablation procedure and catheter ablation procedure.

The seminar will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Garber Auditorium at 430 Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive. Seating for the seminar is limited. To register call 491-7577.

Board-certified in cardiovascular, thoracic and valve replacement surgery, Dr. Mousset performs surgical maze and mini-maze procedures as a part of the St. Patrick Hospital atrial fibrillation program and has been practicing medicine in Lake Charles since 2003.
