Baton Rouge murder suspect arrested in Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Authorities in Lake Charles arrested a second suspect in connection with a double homicide under investigation in Baton Rouge where the bodies of the victims were found in the trunk of a car.

The second suspect, identified as 30-year-old Patrick Ramirez of Baton Rouge, was found at a home on 10th Street in Lake Charles on Tuesday night.

Ramirez and 29-year-old Kendrick Johnson are facing first-degree murder charges for the alleged killing of 28-year-old Jarrett Stanley and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Latonya Wright.

Stanley and Wright were found shot to death in the trunk of a car on Monday in Baton Rouge.
