WASHINGTON, D.C. (KPLC) - President Barack Obama's State of the Union address will be his first since Republicans took control of the House.

Like his speech a year ago, the President is expected to make the economy a major point.

On Sunday he said, "My number one focus, is going to be making sure that we are competitive, that we are growing, and we are creating jobs."

You can watch the address live on KPLC at 8 p.m. local time.
