LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Police are blaming the Millennium park fire on 17-year-old Seth Arceneaux. But, the people who know him best say that is just not possible. Two of Seth Arceneaux's schoolmates, who asked that their names not to be published, said their friend is innocent.
"No one really thinks it's him. He's always been good. He's never done anything that would make anyone mad, like this. He's never put anyone down. He's always been Seth Arceneaux, the person that everyone liked," said one friend.
"I don't think he did anything. I think he's innocent," said another friend.
Meanwhile, investigators maintain an anonymous tip called into the crime stoppers line lead to Arceneaux's arrest. Aside from the call, police are not releasing any evidence that connects Arceneaux to the scene. Also police are anticipate a second arrest in connection with the Millennium Park fire.
