Welsh jail escapee still on the run

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Developing in Welsh, two weeks after a trusty walked away from jail while taking out the trash, police are still looking for him.

They say 29-year-old Rodney Drake walked away from the Welsh Police Department on December 15th.

He is originally from Welsh, but has lived in various places in the past. His last known address was in Lake Charles.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, you're asked to contact your local law enforcement agency.

    Flu season is upon us.  But according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, South Carolina, Mississippi and Louisiana are already seeing high levels of flu activity. If you drive down the stretch of Division Street, in between Ryan and Bilbo, you're probably used to avoiding a sinkhole.
