LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Before the Christmas holiday the 911 call center received a phone call from a man saying he had placed a bomb at the LaGrange High school football stadium. When asked what his name was the caller hung up. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office contacted KPLC to air a recording of the call to see if anyone in the community recognizes the voice.

Sheriff's detectives said that the cell phone used to make the bomb threat is still active. Investigators have even spoken to the student they believe is responsible. In an attempt to speak with this person 7 News called the number. With very little hesitation the person we called gave a name and address. According to officials no charges or arrests have been made.

The number to call if you have any information that could help detectives is 491-3700.
