SULPHUR, LA (KPLC) - Sulphur Police and Louisiana State Police held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the arrest of a 25-year-old Sulphur man on child molestation charges.
Authorities with Sulphur Police say 25-year-old Andrew Joseph Fusilier of Sulphur was arrested on Tuesday on multiple counts involving inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile and one count of computer aided solicitation of a minor on a warrant by the Louisiana State Police.
Fusilier is being held in the Sulphur City Jail on a total bond of $1 million - $700,000 for seven counts involving inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile and a $300,000 for one count of computer solicitation of a minor.
The Sulphur Police Detective Division, Louisiana State Police Detectives and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office are continuing investigations with possible other charges pending.
Detectives have reason to believe that Fusilier may have committed additional child sex crimes with other victims that have yet to be identified. The Sulphur Police Detective Division asks that anyone who has additional information regarding Fusilier to contact Detective Lane Matte at 527-4500.
