LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - The awards for McNeese State kicker Josh Lewis are rolling in after the sophomore drilled a 52 yard field goal to give the Pokes a 13-10 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday.

Lewis was named The Sports Network/Fathead.com and the College Football Performance National FCS special teams player of the week.

The kicker also earned the award as the Southland Conference's special teams player of the week, the second time this season he's won that award.

On Saturday Lewis accounted for seven of McNeese's points, kicking a pair of field goals and an extra point.

McNeese returns home to face Nicholls State this Saturday for Homecoming.
