LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - State Police have released the name of the woman who was killed in a car crash on Interstate 10 in Sulphur.
Investigating troopers say 59-year-old Sandra Hudnall crashed while heading eastbound on I-10 near mile marker 16, just west of Sulphur around 8:00pm Thursday evening.
State Police say Hudnall lost control, went off the interstate and hit some trees. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hudnall was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Routine toxicology samples will be submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis and the crash remains under investigation.
