VINTON, LA (KPLC) - The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a Vinton man last week and charged him with multiple counts, including three counts of forcible rape.

The Sheriff's Office says they received a call from the Orange Police Department regarding a rape that happened in Calcasieu Parish. The investigation revealed a woman was brought to Vinton from Orange where she was allegedly raped and physically injured by 40-year-old Kenneth W. Perry.

On Tuesday, October 5, Perry was questioned by CPSO detectives. Authorities say he confirmed some of the allegations made.

Perry was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and was charged with false imprisonment, battery, and 3 counts of forcible rape.

A judge set his bond at $105,000.

Also, the Orange Police Department has pending charges for Perry in reference to this case.
