Power outage in Lake Charles blamed on accident

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) – A vehicle striking a pole in the area of Moeling and First Avenue on Tuesday morning in the City of Lake Charles is being blamed for a power outage affecting hundreds of Entergy customers.

Entergy reports 369 customers in the area of Moeling without power.  They're also reporting that crews are currently working to replace the pole and wires.  A spokesperson from Entergy says customers should see power return by early Tuesday afternoon for those affected.
