Hurricane Ike remembered two years later

By Adam Hooper - bio | email

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Two years ago Hurricane Ike brought heavy winds, lots of rain, and most of all severe flooding to parts of southwest Louisiana. It was just hours after the storm passed that the water began to rise, devastating homes all over lower Cameron, and even as far north as Lake Charles. Hurricane Ike's path would prove to be a deadly one. The storm took the lives of nearly 200 people, in four different countries, two years ago.
