LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) - Fifty-two-year old Lee Roy Williams, the person of interest in Monday's murders is now in the custody of Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Deputies.
Williams was escorted by authorities Friday morning around 5 a;a.m.. to the Calcasieu jail where he is booked.
As he was led out of the transport vehicle and into the jail, we asked Williams if he had anything to do with the murders. He denied any involvement.
Friday morning's developments conclude a national, 4-day search for him and that dark blue ford explorer he was seen driving.
His arrest is on an unrelated drug charge, but because he's a material witness in the recent Lake Charles murders, his bond is set at $5 million.
