LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC)-A lot of calls Tuesday night to KPLC and fire departments in the Carlyss-Sulphur area from residents concerned about smoke. Officials tell 7 News that the smoke is from a marsh fire in western Cameron Parish. Winds out of the south are pushing the smoke north into Carlyss and Sulphur.  Those winds are expected to shift overnight, and the smoke should be gone sometime early Wednesday.
